As per our discussion this
morning, there is a growing demand for ADR across South
Africa, and with this in mind, our efforts over
the next few months would have to be on building more capacity and growing the
ADR-Network SA panellists in order to service this demand.
finalisation of the Access to Justice foundation will increase the demand
further. I believe we have been receiving quite a few enquiries regarding the
training program that we host, and I think it would be good if we can get some
indication of their interest in our training program with a view of building
capacity over the next few weeks and months.
Of course, on successful
completion of the programme the trainees will have the option of becoming
panellists, after which we can start referring mediation work to them as the

times for ADR, as we see a growing shift in focus from adversarial ways to
methods that emphasize restorative justice.
