Adv. HP Joubert

1. I was admitted as an attorney on 7 June 1994, an advocate on 9 February 1999 and became a member of the Pretoria Bar (Society of Advocates) on 1 July 1999. I resigned from the Pretoria Bar on 28 February 2022 and joined the Pan African Bar Association of South Africa (PABASA) on 4 March 2022. I have thus been admitted as a Legal Practitioner for approximately 31 years and practising as counsel for approximately 26 years. I had also previously worked as a Public Prosecutor for approximately three years.

2. During my practice as an attorney and advocate, I dealt with various RAF matters and an extensive array of medical negligence matters. With regard to the medical negligence matters I have acted both for plaintiff and defendant in the public and private sector.

3. I was awarded my B.Iuris and LLB degrees through UNISA in 1985 and 1990 respectively and qualified as a Mediator in 2016 through UCT in conjunction with Mediation in Motion.
