Nico Raubenheimer

Nico served in the South African Police Force (SAP) and the South African Police Service

(SAPS) for a total of 14 years. During his service he performed duties as patrolman,

detective and training officer. Nico completed the National Diploma: Policing at the

then Technikon SA and was promoted to the rank of Captain.

He resigned from the SAPS in 2003 and joined the Road Accident Fund (RAF) Forensic

Investigation Department where he served for 11 years as Senior Forensic Investigator.

During this time he drew from his experience as police official to contribute to the

successful prosecution of perpetrators defrauding and stealing from the RAF. Nico also

gained valuable experience of the RAF claims processes and procedures, as well as

legislation involved therein.

Nico read law at UNISA and in 2008 he completed his LLB degree. In 2009 he was

admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa. He resigned from the RAF in

2015 and completed the pupillage program presented by the Gauteng Society of

Advocates, whereafter he practiced as an Advocate until 2021.

In 2021 Nico and Ann-Sue Mostert joined forces and Mostert Raubenheimer Inc.

Attorneys was born. He successfully completed the required Practice Management

Training and Attorneys Bookkeeping exams and was admitted as an Attorney of, and

granted the right of appearance in, the High Court of South Africa.

Nico is experienced in Criminal Law, Family Law, Personal Injury Claims, Claims

against the State and Commercial Law.
