Mildred S.M Leburu

I am an attorney and a mediator with over 20 years of experience and a strong background in personal injury (RAF) claims, family law, delictual/ civil litigation and rental housing tribunal disputes mediation. My areas of specialization are in rental housing mediation and RAF( personal injury claims) mediation in terms of the Gauteng High Court’s Mediation Protocol. I have amassed a track record of successfully managing, handling and resolving complex personal injury claims and representing clients in litigious matters in various court divisions, including the Magistrate’s court and High Court. The experience gained has been as a legal representative of Plaintiffs and the Defendant in RAF matters at different stages of my career including a working experience at the Road Accident Fund before my admission as an attorney. I am currently serving as a mediator at the Gauteng Rental Housing Tribunal, facilitating negotiations and resolving rental housing disputes, a role I have served in since 2018.
