Nomvuyo Kutshwa

​

Nomvuyo Kutshwa is a certified and accredited mediator with extensive legal and judicial experience spanning civil, family and criminal law.


She previously served as Head of Office of the Judiciary and Magistrate in the Ekurhuleni and Emfuleni Magistrate’s Districts, gaining significant experience in the adjudication and management of complex legal matters. She also practised as a State Advocate at the South Gauteng High Court, where she gained valuable experience in High Court prosecutions.


Nomvuyo holds a B Juris (1997) and LLB (2007) and completed specialised training in Commercial and Family Mediation in 2025. She is also the author of Marriage in the King’s Court.


Drawing on her extensive experience across the judiciary, legal practice and mediation, Nomvuyo brings a well-rounded understanding of legal disputes and a practical, balanced approach to dispute resolution. Her experience includes adjudication of civil, family and criminal matters, High Court prosecutions, judicial office management, and commercial and family mediation.


She is committed to facilitating constructive dialogue and helping parties work towards fair, practical and sustainable resolutions.
