Samora Mbambi
Samora Mbambi is a trained mediator with a strong grounding in alternative dispute resolution (ADR), including court-annexed mediation, family mediation, workplace disputes, and community-based conflict resolution.
She completed an accredited Mediation Programme through ADR Network South Africa, equipping her with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills to facilitate structured, ethical, and outcome-oriented mediation processes. She has further enhanced her expertise through the “Ninja Skills for Mediators” workshop by ACR Academy, with a focus on Children’s Court processes, parenting plans, and child-sensitive mediation.
In addition to her mediation training, Samora holds a qualification in Human Resources with a focus on Labour Relations, as well as being an Accredited Paralegal - this background strengthens her ability to navigate workplace disputes, disciplinary matters, and legally complex conflicts, while maintaining clear professional boundaries regarding legal advice.
Her mediation approach is grounded in the principles of neutrality, confidentiality, procedural fairness, and informed consent with a strong orientation towards restorative justice. She is particularly drawn to facilitating processes that priorities dialogue, accountability, and sustainable resolution, rather than adversarial outcomes.
Samora also holds recognised training in facilitation and leadership, including certification as a SOGIESC Facilitator through the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) and completion of The Dream Academy by SafePlace International. While distinct from her mediation qualifications, these competencies enhance her ability to manage diverse, sensitive, and high-conflict environments with professionalism and care.
She remains committed to ongoing professional development and to contributing meaningfully to accessible, ethical, and restorative dispute resolution practices in South Africa.
