Sulize Buys

Introduction

Sulize Buys is an accredited mediator, child participation practitioner, and registered Educational Psychologist based in Pretoria. She holds a Master of Education (cum laude) in Guidance and Counselling from UNISA and brings over two decades of experience working with children, adolescents, and families.

Mediation Practice

Sulize mediates across a diverse range of fields and is trained in mandatory mediation processes in line with Rule 41A. She is actively involved in pro bono court-annexed mediation at the Pretoria North Children’s Court. Her work is characterised by a child-centred, developmentally informed approach, with a strong emphasis on meaningful child participation in legal proceedings.

Additional Professional Services

Beyond her mediation practice, Sulize offers a variety of services, including psycho-legal assessments, parenting coordination, academic guidance, and therapeutic support. She also serves as a Quality Assurer for AOSIS, where she contributes to the development and moderation of e-CPD content for psychologists in accordance with the requirements of the HPCSA.
