He obtained the degrees B Com Law, LLB at the now University of Johannesburg, is an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa, a member of the General Bar Council of South Africa, a Member of the Johannesburg Society of Advocates1 and a member of the Legal Practice Council of South Africa2 . He is also a member of the Law Society of the Kingdom of Lesotho3 . He holds Chambers in Sandton, Johannesburg, with the Rivonia Group of Advocates4 . He obtained Fellowship status at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK) and is the Chairperson of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators South African Branch. He is an active Commercial Panel Arbitrator of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA), a Fellow and active Commercial Panel Member of the Association of Arbitrators (Southern Africa) as arbitrator, mediator and adjudicator, a Member of the African Arbitration
